Our moving team consists of experienced young individuals, and we understand that the last thing you want during a move is to see your beloved furniture or newly purchased home getting damaged. Therefore, we make every effort to protect your property and belongings during the move. However, unforeseen circumstances can occur, and in the rare event of damage, we prioritize seeking professionals to assess and attempt repairs. If it’s confirmed that repairs are not possible, we have appropriate damage insurance to protect both you and us.
*Note: Pre-existing damages, minor dents, and scratches smaller than a one-dollar coin are not covered under the protection.
Basic Cargo Moving Insurance

Description:
Basic cargo transportation insurance is already included in the hourly rate, with no additional charge. We calculate the compensation amount based on the weight of the goods, not their value. The maximum compensation amount per pound of cargo is $0.6. For example, if you have a table weighing 100 pounds, regardless of the repair cost, the compensation amount will be 100 pounds x $0.6 = $60
If you have concerns about this coverage limit, don’t worry! You can contact our customer service to purchase our premium cargo transportation insurance or value protection insurance. This way, you can have more comprehensive protection for your goods and greater peace of mind.
Enhanced Moving Damage Protection

Description:
If the basic cargo transportation insurance is not sufficient for you, we also offer premium transportation insurance with a maximum compensation of $6.0 per pound of cargo and a maximum compensation of $500 per item. If you are not satisfied with this level of damage protection, we recommend purchasing Replacement Value Protection insurance provided by Youth Power Moving or your personal insurance company..

For especially valuable items, please contact customer service at least one week in advance, as we need approval from the insurance company. You can also contact your own insurance company to purchase corresponding insurance.
Commercial General Liability Moving Insurance
We have $2 million in commercial general liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance (WCB) for all our moving personnel. Our movers will make every effort to ensure the safety of your belongings and property during the moving process. However, surfaces such as floors, walls, and ceilings are not covered by insurance, as it is often difficult to distinguish new scratches from existing ones. In the rare event that our movers need to navigate large items through narrow stairs or hallways, resulting in wall scratches, we can assist you with filling and sanding the walls (if the homeowner provides touch-up paint, we can also help with painting).
